Grass also has a low impact on the body and is therefore recommended for beginners. I can understand why the pavement may seem like a more convenient option for you, but keep in mind that this is the best surface to avoid injuries at this initial stage. Many studies have concluded that grass is the surface that is the friendliest to our bodies bemuse it lowers the pressure on the muscles, tissue, and bones. But grass can be tricky. Know that running in the park can be somewhat stressful due to all the distractions such as dogs and walkers. Besides, you have to be more careful when running on grass and watch out for those hidden holes and rocks that may muse another kind of injury.
